About Me
I'm currently a music student at Ithaca College studying performance on French Horn. My first instrument was the guitar and I started playing when I was four years old. When I was nine, I started playing the horn and have stuck with it ever since. In my time at Ithaca, I've performed with most of the major instrumental ensembles including: IC Orchestra, IC Wind Ensemble, IC Wind Symphony, and the IC Concert Band. In my first year at Ithaca I join Mesa Pa' Seis, a Latin band in the Ithaca area, and have had the pleasure of performing with them for three years now. For the past year, I've been a performing member with the Commonwealth Wind Symphony, which is based in Massachusetts. I am a founding and current member of Quintessential Brass, which is an Ithaca College chamber music group. My goal as a musician is to spread joy and music.
While I'm primarily a live performer, I have done several recording projects. My first was with a rock band, Bloody Callan. This was a great first experience and I'd like to thank the lads for having me in the studio with them. Mesa Pa' Seis has also been part of some recording projects, but our biggest one is still in the works and set to release next month. Additionally, I've participated in recording sessions with the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble.
